i've had it all my life and I can'tell you, i've made a game out the number of people that can actually pronounce it correctly. Nearly 95% of people I'meet, if they haven't heard somebody speak it, they will i'vert 'r' and 'y' to pronounce it Byron. i've only met one other person with a name'spelled like this, but i've met many other "Brians/Bryans"

I have had the name for over 51 years. I was suppose to be a Byron named after my grand fathe's friend. My Mom i'verted the y and r because she did n't like Byron. I too have been called Byron most of my life. Are son is a Jr. and goes through the'same.
