Fatimah meaning

Fatimah is a female Arabic name that literally means: a woman who has weaned her baby from giving milk. Fatimah is the name of Prophet Muhammad’s daughter. The prophet said I chose this name for my daughter because:

إِنَّمَا سُمِّيَتْ اِبْنَتِي فَاطِمَةَ لِأَنَّ اَللَّهَ عَزَّوَجَلَّ فَطَمَهَا وَ فَطَمَ مَنْ أَحَبَّهَا مِنَ اَلنَّارِ

the almighty God keeps the Fatimah and those who love the lady far from fire. Imam Baqir (a.s) also stated: when my Jidda (my father's grandmother) Fatima was born, the almighty God revealed to an angel: inspire the name of Fatimah into heart of the prophet, so this name is divinely and is sent by Allah. divine angels remember those who are Fatimah respectfully and they and their wealth will be immune from difficulties of bad worldly accidents. Those with the name of Fatimah enjoy good heart, intelligence and tranquility provided they remember lady Fatimah and follow her pure way and be away from doing senior and major sins and try to be connected with her true theosophy and know it. O dear one who you are named Fatimah be aware that the Fatimah is beauty of God’s throne therefore if you are pure and resort to her, you can be also the beauty of God’s throne (before Allah) and the lady will guarantee your intercession. The girl who are Fatimah are safe against human and Jinn harm. The messenger of Allah stated to Salman: O Salman those who love my daughter Fatimah will be assisted in a hundred positions in hereafter like: in grave, moment of dying, the day of judgement, Serat bridge etc.
