Our son is Garrison. My father's name was Gary and we wanted to honor him with a similar name but even he wasn't fond of the name Gary. We find that people really like the name because It's so rare (but It's a real name) and I'm a teacher'so many names have become tired for me at this point.
My last name is Garrison there are two Garrison families in my city. I like it because its easy to pronounce (Gare-Uh-Son) and there arent many other people with the last name Garrison so no people get confused
