My father was born in 1928 when'the name Jennings was near the height of its popularity, that is, about 100 per year. Due to his insanity, he gave me his name, which I have avoided as much as possible during my 46 years so far by using Jay as a nickname. In 1980 I was probably the only baby named Jennings in the country, or the world. I also agree with the comment that it is really a last name. I won't write my last name here, but It's a common last name like Smith. People often'think my name is Smith Jennings instead of Jennings Smith, because I guess even a common last name like Smith is more believable as a first name than Jennings. Don't name your boy or girl Jennings.
My daughter's name is Jennings. She is 14 now and loves her name. People often'think that it is her last name, and they do pronounce it incorrectly, but she is used to that and has no issues at all with her name. She loves the fact that no one else, has her name. I loved this name for a girl since I was young and I just knew if I had a girl Jennings would be her name.
WELL, THIS IS MY NAME ,BUT I THINK IS A SEXY NAME.. AND MAKES YOU FEEL SEXY...
Love the name Jennings. So much so that I named my daughter Jennings.
