People usually say it like Kristen, only teache's usually put emphasis on the 'a' when'there's more than 1 Kristen in the class. i've never met another Kristan. I was born in 2014. My dad wanted my name to be spelled Krystan so I'm glad they went the'simpler way

Most people promounce my name correctly, but spell it wrong (even family!). I usually get either an "e" in place of the "a" or and "ian" instead.
I have yet to encounter an individual that gets it right teh first time. It becomes Kristian or Christian. Darn it.
