Lakeshia may sound ghetto to sum ppl, but in my mind its just as beautiful as the othe's. it all depends on how you pronounce it. if you stress the La in Lakeshia, then it will sound ghetto, but if you stress the kee It'sounds unique and exotic, but i think this name is supposed to be pronounced like La-Kee-she-a

My name is spelled this way. I perfer this over the other'spellings. My brother calls me Lake She Ah. It's funny that when my mom named me this in the 80s she tought it was unique. Come to find out It's pretty common. I'mean there is always at least one Keshia around.
