I'm going to name my daughter that, if it really is a girl. I'm not sure yet but thts the name i have chosen'to give her.
they pronounce and spell it wrong, and they don't know what the name means wrong pronounciation and spelling, don't know what it means
This is a beautiful name. We named our daughter Hallie (rhymes with Sally) but I'must warn other parents that people get the pronunciation wrong about 90% of the time. She is usually called Hayley or Holly. She does get upset when it Isn't pronounced correctly, but she's only 4 and I suspect she'll eventually learn to let it go. That is something I didn't think we would encounter considering It's the "traditional" spelling. All in all It's worth the inconvenience because we are constantly being told how beautiful and uncommon it is.
