This is my name. I was born in 1995. The only downside is that people often make a dumb joke about Denzel Washington upon introduction. But to be truthful, I don't mind the attention. Its been a fantastic way to make myself unique.
hI'my name is nathaly and all my life people pronounces my name wrong or they dont spell it right!!
When our David was born 5 weeks early I still had n't decided on a name.I was just coming out of a drug induced fog from the emergency c-section when a nun(it was a catholic hospital) asked what I would name him❤️ I said I really dont know yet. She then said-He is so small yet very strong and already demanding all our attention. Later that night I opened the bible next to my bed and there it was! The'story of David and Golieth, well the rest is history,we still call him baby David even'though he is 6'1" at 16 and races dirt bikes and rides bulls at the local rodeo!
This is my name. I am the 4th Ralph. My great Grandfather, Grandfather, Father and Myself are all named Ralph. I haven't really known any of them though, so I'm not sure if I'm all that attached to passing on the legacy, when I could start a fresh one. I like the name now, but when I was in school, I paid a price for having a unique name. I started a job and some lady asked me what my name was. I told her, and she'says "oh, I thought they were messing with me... your name really is Ralph" as if it was something inter'sting.
So nice spelled the French way. It is a wonderful name to have. However when people say it with a 'th' it makes them sound quite unintelligent. Like saying 'foyer' with the 'er' sound... It is quite annoying to French speakers when people make their language sound bad.
This is my little girl's name. I spell it Lailah, I have always loved that name from the first time I heard the'singer's name Lalah Hathaway when I was very young. My husband thinks more of Laila Ali. LOL
this is my name and i love it. i didnt always like tho. i live in the caribbean and pple there cud make the nicest names sound hideous. it has grown on me nw and im thinkin about using that name more regularly instead of my first name...oh and my father named me alana after his ex......hw corny is that.......lol
I LOVE this name cause It'spelling is UNIQUE and not very common from around here :)) and it complements my 2nd name "Claire" so It's Nathalie Claire. I love it because they call me Nathalie instead of Claire
Beautiful name, really. =D Such a fine way of spelling it.
My name is Nathalie, and I'm from norway. I'm 18 know, and I love my name, specialy cuz its not that popular here. Or, at least it was not. I'm the only Nathalie on my age, up in the north. THATS AWESOME. But no one use it, cuz of all the nick names .. so. yeeeeeah. In Norway we pronounce it natalie, but with an aksent, like, nataalie. The'secound a is longer, I think .. To bad, I love the french pronouncement!!
This is my name. When I was child, I thought it was kind of boring. Now, however, I love it!! I see now that It's classy and classic. People see you as being intelligent and refined if u have a traditional, classy name'such as Anne. It might be somewhat old-fashioned, but it never went completely out of style. It's better than having an overly trendy name that will come and go and give away your age when You're older.
This is my Name i love it it is so rare I have had a hard time finding beautiful rare names for my babies.
This is my name! I love it! People often mis-hear it as "Tyler" I am the Alpha Tanner.
I deny the "th" sound and pronounce it as if it is the conjunction of two names "nat" and "hallie"
I just wnat to give this name to my new born girl.I love the name Nathalie it just came to my mind.
My name is Nathalie Jean. People always ask how to pronounce my name and I say, "Jean". They smile. They pronounce it wrong by saying Natalie. I pronounce the "th", the'same as Nathan. I tried using it in grade school, but it got shortened to Nat. Too bad. It's a very pretty name, I think.
its my name. i love it, its meaning is great. many people do spell it wrong and some even pronounce it wrong. i like this name because it is common and at the'same time different. i dont know a single nathalie even'though i live in the heart of europe. i prefer the french pronounciation of my name
Nathalie is my name. Of course people spell it wrong but I got used to it. the'spelling of the name makes me unique.
When'this name was popular in the 1962s, so were Jan and Judy, and Linda, Patricia, Denise, and Sandra - but Ethel, Beulah, Hortense, I'ma, Eunice, and Bertha had fallen from favour by then. The male names Elmer, Adolph, Mortimer, Herman, and Wilbur had as well, more or less (Mortimer definitely had by that time and Hitler discouraged Adolph's usage without a doubt), whereas Arthur, Harold, Walter, Frank, Leonard, Albert, and Ralph were still quite popular in the 1962s.
ur name thing lies my bro is named adriane but pronounced ay-dree-nee
It is a common name in france and Quebec. We french use the h after the t. It is pronounced the'same as in english-the h is silent. One must pronounce all three syllables Na-tha-lie. It means a child of Christmas. Nathalie is me!
