I love the name nathanial and all the people who think it is a bad name don't like me.
Nathaniel is my brother and most people mispronounce his name to Daniel. He has the'same name as one of Jesus's disciple also known as Bartholomew. People call him Nate, which my mother dislikes. we all love him,but we dislike the nicknames people call him.
We just had our first son less than 3 weeks ago and named him Zachary but we call him Zach. We have had many compliments on the name choice from family and friends.
I'm due Oct.10th 2019 with a little boy. I wasn't sure what to name him til I found this name. It'sounded just right. I'm very pleased. People in our family are already spelling it with an E instead of the Al, but thats ok - I love this name and the'spelling! Lena
My oldest sons name is Nathanial. When I named him this in 2013 with the ial spelling everyone gave me grief saying I spelled it wrong. I had never'seen It'spelled this way before so I thought it would be an original twist. I am glad though to see it catching on. Now everyone wont think I just cant spell.
My name is Nathanial, everyone calls me Nathan which is fine. Those that don't call me Nathan call me Nath or Nafe.
Its quite intresting I had just found out I was pregnant and somehow already knew I was having my now 2month son and for some reason nathanial came into my mind. I'm Mexican American and nathanial is not at all a common name for my culture but there's something very pure about the name and I hope that my son appriates having the middle name
hi im nathanial thank you for all the comments............
Nathanial is my name. People sometimes use an e instead even when'the name has benn used correctly elsewhere. I hate Nat and Nate, Natty is ok but prefer not. Thany is a nicer option. It is a uncommen christian disciple name and the nicest.
I gave my son the middle name Nathanial, but the nurse told me that was a misspelling, they thot since I had a hard time with the birth and my pain medication was effecting me and I was making a mistake! NOT! Then my grandson was born, his first name is Nathanial. We all love it and he has no nick names, except for 'thanial man when he was a baby. Even'the'school and all his friends know NO nicknames! He is a very bright boy of 10 and is on the honor roll at school. I couldn/t have asked for a better grandson!
Hey my name is Nathanial. I find it inter'sting how my name is spelt. I have seen many Nathaniels but all with the iel spelling. I don't mind it though, I think I rather have this spelling. It just looks more correct with an a then an e. I find it funny how I have to correct people when'they try to spell my name. But the'same goes for when people try to say it, and that gets rather bothe'some to say the least.
My colleague James named his new baby as Nathanial just a day ago. I became curious about the meaning and the'search ended up here. No doubt "Nathanial" is a cute name; The nick name Nathan as well. "Nathan" in many Asian languages and even in Sanskrit means "one who rules/owns everythingı. In a different context "The leader" In all respect It's a great name.
