My little boy's name. Not trendy or over'sed, thank goodness. We think It'sounds dignified but friendly.
We named our son Tahj after the actor Tahj Mowry, Since I first saw it and heard it I felt in love with it. Everyone in our family mispronounces it, sowe correct them and taught them hw to say it.
I named my son Spencer because I liked the fact it is a different & not over'sed name. Spencer was born in 2003 & there were a couple Spencer's who went to other'schools that ended up being on Spencer's youth soccer team for a few years. Spencer was the only one at either of the'schools he attended, which was nice in a sea of more common names. Besides the fact I loved the name, It'suits my Spencer very well. The only minor regret I have is not coming up with an equally unique middle name, but, Spencer Logan flows so well. Spencer never had to worry when he was younger about being made fun of by his friends when his name was called. he's often'told me over the years he likes his name because It'sounds posh & dignified. Coming from him, this is quite funny because, even'though he is a gentleman, I would not equate him with being posh. I am a very proud mama &, although I sent him to very nice parochial schools, you can'teach them fine manners & social skills, but, you can't take the'southern out of the boy or man. Spencer is my pride & joy & has been from day 1 &, I can't imagine him being named anything else.
No one has yet mentioned the great Spencer Tracy! A class act just like the name!
Having only one son and four daughters, I am very happy naming my son Spencer...To me It'sounds rich....and if you are lucky to have a neat last name like he is, It'sounds very manly or charming....
Not trendy or over'sed❤️ 'pencer as a name for boys has been one of the 1,000 most popular names in the United States every decade since 1880.' That's not so unique now.
I'm the only girl i've ever met named Spencer, and I can'tell you that almost everyone I'meet comments that they like my name.
My name is Spencer I'm the only girl Spencer i've ever met... umm i get confused as a boy sometimes on attendence lists but i always get compliments on my name. However... the meaning which is pretty much Butler or Steward... I could do without
Spencer is the best name ever, nobody says it wrong/spells it wrong. It's good that not everyones name is Spencer(like Nicole or Michael). Canada Rocks!
Spencer is my boyfriends name. I think its cute and sweet. It's really not over'sed and It'sort of reminds me when we first made love every time I hear it......I can hear myself screaming with joy!
We named our second son Sullivan(almost 7) because we wanted to have a different name and something with a regal tone.I hope it doesn't become popular.(i hate popular!!)
My name is Spencer, and people don't have a hard time pronouncing it as much as they do spelling it! You don't hear that name alot, but I was born in the 90's and my parents thought it was the 'in' name. I think it is somewhat metrosexual.
I have twin sons and thought that Spencer was the perfect name for one of my sons. I work with children, so choosing a name was really difficult as I always linked a name with a child I'd cared for! Spencer is not a name you hear too often, so It was the perfect choice for me!
the name'stephen is a good name because it means reward. Im glad to have it as a middle name.
Do not care for this name, maybe the er part of it,or also because of that couple spencer and Heidi or something like that, just wanted lots of attention for plastic surgery, sad, wish them well, hope she realizes should accept he'self for who she is,and her boyfriend Spencer'should have stood up and told her'she doesn't need surgery.
I just think this name is kinda weird. It is certainly 'original' but I don't really like if to much. However, I'm sure there are a lot of nice people named Spencer out there and I wish them well!
My sister's name is Spencer and people constantly think that'she must be a boy by her name. Once, when she was in school, a subsitute teacher told her to get out of her'seat because it could not be her'seat - that'seat belonged to "Spencer." A nice name, though.
My name is Spencer I think It's a great name It's not over'sed and can be a great unique name. I do NOT get how people do not like it.
This is my 2-year old son's name. We thought it was really unique and then I found out the woman two doors down from me in the hospital where I had my baby had named her'son Xander also! LOL. Since then I have met one other Xander. People always think it is short for "Alexander" or It's pronounce EX-ander. I hate it when people who know my son spell it with a Z. Or they think It's from that'stupid Buffy the Vampire Slayer'show..I love the name! My mom thinks It's weird...too bad!
My name is Spencer. I'm a girl though and a lot of people mistake me for a boy on attendance lists. It gets annoying but I also get a lot of compliments on my name for me being a girl.
i've only met one other'spencer in my life, it is definitely unique and also a great name.
