I am partially Italian on my dad's side, and I got the name from my great-grandmother. It kinda became a family name, with cousins/second cousins having it as their name/ middle name. I do really like my name, It's very unique, but there is always an issue with people pronouncing or spelling it incorrectly (I pronounce it Awe-Ray-Lee-Ya). i've kind of just learned to respond to most pronunciations, or when a teacher hesitates during role call! As a nickname I'm usually called Lia or some form of Ray/Rayli

Named my daughter Aurelia Soleil. Got Aurelia from "Love Actually" and we call her Lia for short. She loves her name even'though kids can't say it correctly. It's a beautiful, unique name and I always hear from parents how pretty it is.

My name is Aurelia. My father named me it and i've always loved it. I was always the only person in school named it, verses the multiple Raelins or Maddies. The only problem i've ever had is people pronouncing it wrong. The closest people ever get is ❤️ah-RE-lea❤️. The correct way to pronounce it is ❤️ah-RAIL-eah❤️.

My name is Aurelia, and for those who are named the'same; you have been saying your name wrong. I'm Hispanic, and I inherited the name from my great-great grandmother as well. The origin of the name is Latin & Roman, meaning "gold" and/or "golden". To pronounce it is not "Ah-real-ya". Whoever told you that is wrong. It is "Aw-rel-lee-uh".

My name is Aurelia and I have loved it every second of my life! In the 60 years i've lived i've never met another Aurelia. My daughter Carolyn recently had her first daughter in which she named Renee. I'm upset that these new names are kicking in, but at least I'm one of the few Aurelia's left on this earth. God bless this earth!

The first time I heard the name Evan was in 1995. I didn't hear it again until I named my son Evan in 2008. When he was small, other people seemed unfamiliar with it, but i've heard of many more Evan's in the last few years, the most famous was a Welsh revivalist.
