My daughter's name is Eadie. We love the name but had to change the'spelling from Edie as people kept mispronouncing it as Eddie.

My name is Edie, not a nickname for any other name, just Edie. Growing up I got/get called Eddie and it use to upset me so much. I always hated my name when everyone else -once they got passed the Eddie- seemed to enjoy it. But as I get older the more I come to appreciate my name and accept It'since it is so rare and original. What also helps is that famous people with the name Edie seem to be so unique and celebrities seem to love the name for example, Keira Knightly named her daughter Edie.
