My Name is Nicola. When I go to england it is pronounced correctly. But here in america it is always mispronounced ni-cola. I hate that.
My name is Nicola! I love the name It'sounds ancient so I really like it! I hope you like it 2!
Me and my friend are both called Nicola (correct spelling) shes a Nichola and we constantly argue over whats the correct spelling. We both prefer our way of spelling Nicola/Nichola but we both love a name. Although its taken us ages to find a coca cola bottle with our name on, given'that cola is actually in our name.
i was sarah up to the last minute till my mum heard it on the radio as a name becoming popular in the'sixties when i was born, think i prefer'sarah.
i've been Nicola since 1981. It's said the Italian way. Don't mind it till I'm called Nicole. It just tells me people aren't listening or care. It does suck sometimes. I always have to custom personalized items. Never find in stores. I do however am told It's a very pretty name.
the main problem is that people often pronounce it wrong
I'm actually a Nichola, and everyone always spells my name without the H... so i have to go round filling one in, which is quite annoying after 21 yours of doing so. i dont like the name at all, sounds very common.
It's always pronounced Knee-colar... instead of Ni-cu-la, the proper way. Very frustrating. Most the north americans pronounce it wrong. Europeans say it properly.
hi evey1!!! my name is nicola and i think its ok for me. i am 23 but i would have liked to have a bit more of an unusual name. prefer to be called nic though! xx

I'm Nicolla, I love my name because in the US, you don't run into Nicolla's. I'm 45 and i've yet to meet another Nicolla (Nicola) in person and I love the fact that I haven't. I encouraged my children'to give their kids uncommon names as well.
I'm a 1981 Nicola, and it was quite a popular name around that time. I'met a 1971 Nicola once. I was stunned! Anyway, I love the name. A boyfriend from the 90s told me that It's a babe name. I was a babe, too.
im Nicola, i hate it. I love being called Nic though which is what all my family and friends call me. Im from the west midlands so you can understand how common It'sounds when people say it:: Nicalla hehe
I love being Nicola, It's a name with so many variations. I love that different people call me different versions, Nicola (husband & mother), Nik (my colleagues and more recent friends), Nicky/Nikki (old school friend), Nicole (my french friend) and Nico (my ex and his family ❤️ to differentiate from a Nicola and a Nicky already in their family). Younger children seem to struggle with the pronunciation so call me Nick-A, Nic-la or Nic-lar, which usually sticks as they grow up. One of my nephew really struggled with it and still calls me Aunty Ner-la even'though he can pronounce it correctly now. I'm happy with it, like having dozens of different nicknames (LOL!)
Just like Nicolas but without the's not Nicole with an a at the end
i always find that people put a random H in the middle, i.e. nicHola, which really annoys me. i know some girls do spell it that way, but i don't like it coz that's not MY name. plus i like that It's that 1 letter firther away from nicholas
My name is Nicola, and I am so fed up of people shortening it to Nicky! I dont introduce myself as Nicky, so why do people feel they need to call me it❤️
It's my name and i love it I wouldn't want to be called anything else!!
I'm having a baby girl and I wa shrinking about calling her Nicola, spelt without the h and pronounced Ni-co-lah
I'm a 1982s child so there were a few Nicolas around. I like my name, but hate it when called Nicky, Nikki, I don't encourage it either. All my family call me Nic, which I don't mind. Actually prefer Nicole.
