Originating from Hebrew and French roots, Rachelle is a softer version of Rachel denoting 'ewe.' An ewe, or a female sheep, symbolically represents purity, peace, and innocence. The name exudes gentleness and harmonious qualities, signifying a celebratory symbol of life.
Rachelle is a French adaptation of the Hebrew name Rachel, meaning 'ewe.' It has been quite popular in French-speaking countries. The symbolism of 'ewe' holds a special place across cultures, and the qualities associated—purity, peace, and innocence—add historical and religious significance to this name.
Many famous people share the name Rachelle, adding to its charm. My name is Rachelle too. As almost everyone else has said, most people say it wrong. I think it is wonderful that it is so unique that people don't know how to pronounce it. It makes me feel good when people say it right. In school whenever we have a sub I alway tell my friends just wait I'm going to be called Rachel today. It almost always happens except for when'the'sub knows a Rachelle. Rachelle's Rock!
My name is Rachelle. Everyone spells and pronounces it wrong. Sometimes it gets annoying, but I still like my name. I like not having a bunch of people I know with teh exact same name. I am just a little bit different!
my mum was gonna call me rachel but the doctor pronounced it ra shell so she called me rachelle and almost everyone says it wrong but suppose its okayy
My name is Rachelle, and i hate it.they all call me rachel because im a sophomore in high school.
I love my name Rachelle. When i was young I hated it as it was so uncommon and wished my name was Rachel or common as Rachel instead. As i grew I realize and appreciate the fact that my name is uncommon. Can not understand why people would pronounce it as Rachel if you know the English language. As noted above I read somewhere that the origin of the name is Italian although most think it is French.
My name is Rachelle and I love it. People always call me Rachel and it drives me nuts! Even when I say 'My name is Rachelle' later on they say 'Hey Rachel!' My best friend calls me Rae and I have been also called "Rat-chelle" by one of my friends. I love my name and I wouldn't change it.
I'm also a Rachelle, middle name Rae, so people love to call me Rachael Ray (drives me insane!!!) Born in '93. I love my name but hate the mispronunciation. People also comment about how pretty it is and that It's a bit unique. Luckily my friends always correct people who get it wrong. Teache's on the other hand love to say it wrong, even subs get it before them! Still love it! Never giving it up! <3
My name is Rachelle and I see I'm not the only one who is called 'Rachel' at times. I really don't mind too much, but I really like my name. I'm a newlywed and my husband tells me that one of the reasons he first fell for me was because Rachelle is such a sexy, feminine name.
im probably the youngest Rachelle here =) im 14 years old i love the namee . most of you had the'same problem as me . when i was little everyone said RACHEL when my mom said RA- CHELLE my grandma calls me chelle ; i love this namee . i was thinkinq of naminq my dauqhter ( if i have 1 ] rachelle ıı its qreattt .
My name is Rachelle, but its said like it is Rachel. But I'much rather the'spelling of Rachelle and the'saying of Rachel.
My name is Rachelle and I'm 14 years old. In school it gets frustrating sometimes when'the teacher pronounces my name 'Rachel' and I tell them over and over that It's pronounced 'Ra-Shell' but they NEVER get it! I love my name! In my school It's VERY uncommon, I'm the only person with the name Rachelle so I know when people are talking about me...but it gets confusing because I have a lot of friends named Michelle...and It'sounds the'same so when someone calls for Michelle I think they're calling me! =D
My name is Rachelle, and I agree with the othe's that it has been a very frustrating name to have as very few people pronounce, say or spell it correctly. However, it Isn't a very common name, which makes it nice because It's just different enough.
my name is not rachelle, but i really like that name. If or when i get married and decide to have children i will name a daughter rachelle
This used to be my name, which I hated so much, that I got it (along with my former awful last name) legally changed in 2020! It never really fit, nor suited me I think, and wasn't exactly a name which you often hear young kids having for that matter. I was the only person I personally knew (besides my dad) who had it. Sharing a name with my father wasn't really something which I was a fan of either for that matter, since it caused much unnecessary confusion, while giving me an inferiority complex at the'same time. That especially being when people would often call me "Little Barry" as a child, which as a result, didn't take me long to start hating it, as you can imagine!
Rachelle is my name its original no alot of people have it.
My name is Rachelle and it is almost always mispronounced. Rachel, Rochelle, Richelle, or Michelle. I typically give people two chances to get it right before I become annoyed. When someone gets it right the first time though, It's like a small personal victory. Since I was little, my friends and family called me Shell. Most of them still do, but at work I go by Rachelle. When I was young, I didn't like my name, but that might be partly I could never find a souvenir with my name on it. Now that I'm 'grown up' I think it is a great name. It is very beautiful when said correctly and fairly unusual, but not weird! It is always exciting to meet another Rachelle, there aren't too many of us out there!
My middle name is Rachelle (Amanda Rachelle) and I was born in 1995. My only wish is that my mom went with a different spelling so that it is no way confused with Rachael as I really do not like that name.
its so anoying all the teache's at school used to call me rachel and when on the phone the they confuse me to be michelle. very anoying but i liek my name now and its me and what i was given.
I love the name Rachelle. I think its so unique because not a lot of people have the name. During the basketball season when'they announce my name as a starter for my team, they almost always get it wrong. They even mess up my last name. Personally, I love having something not a lot of people have
Mine is spelled R-A-C-H-E-L-E but It's pronounced exactly like Rachelle (ruh-SHELL). It's French. I don't bristle too much when somebody calls me "Rachel" (they do it all the time), but when'they say "Rochelle" or "Racquel" it chaps my ass!
My name is Rachelle (pronounced Ruh-shel) I hated my name when I was younger but I love it now. My friends and family do too although they call me Chelle most of the time. I can'tell that Rachelle has become a more popular name because i've noticed other people i've met don't have as hard of a time as remembering it as they used to. I love the name Rachelle. i've been'thinking about giving my daughter (if I ever have one!!) that name too.
My name is Rachelle. I love it! i've met a one or two people with my name. usually they pronounce my name rachel or rochelle, i like that no one i know has it, and that its not a weird name or anything.
My name is Rachelle as well (love it). I get called Rachel religiously so I just started responding to it. I hardly ever correct the people that pronounce it wrong even'though I don't like the name Rachel.
My name's Rachelle. I love it. You don't meet many. I don't like getting called Rachel all the time, but i've gotten used to it. All in all It's a unique feminine name and I'm lucky It's mine. :)
My middle name is rachelle , i am Lisa Rachelle but i like Rachelle so much I usually go by it. and I too run into the problem of everyone wanting to call me rachel or they pronounce it like Rochelle, which I dont like at all. rachelle is the prettiest way!
my name is rachelle. im 11 years old. i pronounce my name ruh-shel. i HATE it when people pronounce my name wrong. they either'say... RACHEL, ROCHELLE, MICHELLE, AND MACHELLE. but anyways, i love my name becouse its unique and special.
my name is rachelle. people say it right once in a while when'they see it but usually i get called rachel. and when'they hear and try to spell it, that never turns out right either. but i like my name anyways.
It's the name of my mother & I like it because its very unique. When I do have a daughter, Rachelle will be one of names (either first or middle)
I like my name, but I dislike that everyone pronounces it wrong. But I like how it is so uncommon and unique.
My name is also Rachelle & I absoultely love it. All my life people have pronounced it wrong. I hate the name Rachel/Rochelle/or even Michelle. As I have gotten older I always correct people. I did not meet another person named Rachelle until I think I was about 17 yrs old. I think it is a very pretty & sexy name. I even had a friend name her baby after me because she loved the name.
EVERYONE calls me "Rachel", but it is pronounced "ruh-shell"...people never ever'say it wrong-and when'they hear it without seeing It'spelled out, they assume my name is "Rochelle" or "Michelle"-VERY frustrating-but it is common enough where people do not look at me like i am weird when'they hear it and unusual enough that people often comment, "oh what a pretty name"-overall-i like it, but for most of my life, I have gone by "Chelle"-pronounced like"shell"-and i love both names.
I use to hate my name when i was little because no one could say it right. As I grew older I learned to love my name. I was very unique. I hate Rachel but Rachelle sounds prettier. I pronounce my name Ru shell. I get called every other name, and the most common ones. My friends mainly have called me by nicknames such as RayRay, RoRo and Shell. I also get my name pronounced as Rayshelle. I don't mind that, but I do correct alot of people. My parents named me after my two oldest sisters middle names: Renaee and Michelle and put them together. It was always special to me once they told me how I was named.
my name is rachel....well thats how i spell it i love the name rachel could see me with any other name!
My name is rachelle too & i absolutely love it. I did not know that it was soo common. My mom's name is rachel so when people mistakenly call me "rachel" it does not bother me, but i hate it when'they call me "Rochelle". Noooo thats not my name. <----Hate that name. BUT i love the name "rachelle" it is very pretty & beautiful <3
people always call me Rachel and they can't spell it to save their lives, people also call me Rochelle. I love the name is not as common and its a lot of fun im named after my great grandmother and have loved the name forever!
My name is also Rachelle. I love my name, It's totally unique and everyone always comments on how they love it. I too was call "Rachel" basically my whole life, and have continuously corrected people. My fiance calls me Rachel just to bug me because he knows I hate it.
My name is Rachelle (Ray shell) I am from the'south so my mom and love ones pronounce it this way. Ru shell is also fine. However, I absolutely hate being called Rachel or Rochelle!!!
My name is Rachelle and I get so may compliments! Having such a cool name is definitely worth the times you have to correct people!!!
My name is Rachelle or Roach as my friends call me. I love my name, but when i was in 7th grade, i wanted to change my name to Renee because my teache's always called me rachel. GRRRRR!!! Oh yeah on on the phone I get called Michelle. Just as bad as Rachel.
Hey my name is Rachelle,I'm from LEBANON and actually there's a lot of girls i know named Rachelle and I'm really starting to get bored with it but It's ok . I would have liked it more if i had a more exotic name but slowly i'll get used to it !
Hi everyone my name is also Rachelle :) and i am a 2002 baby! I feel all your pain when it comes to the many mispronunciations of this beautiful name. When I was younger I would get so mad when someone called me Rachel but now I just politely correct them and move on. Usually when i correct someone they tell me how beautiful my name is and I am filled with a kind of sense of pride because of this. I have only personally met one other person with this name and she was in my dance class go figure but she was bigger and older'so they called me "little Rachelle" :). I often get called Chelle, Chelly, Chelly-belly :) and since my middle name is Faye I will get Chelly Faye which I just adore. All in all i wouldn't trade my name for anything else I think It's the perfect mixture of beauty and elegance and stren'th!
My name is Rachelle. My experience with my name is that everyone keeps saying Rachel instead of Rachelle.I love my name no matter what!-_-Even my teache's keep on saying Rachel so i tell the that my name is pronounced as Rachelle.!
I have met 3 other Rachelles' in my life... I had a lady try to tell me I was saying my name wrong!! It's not Rachel dummy and I should kno i've lived with it for 18 years and my mother decided on the name and taught me to say it correctly... Its insanely annoying, I'm always ready to correct people and lots are just too lazy so i say their names wrong as well =)
i know an ungly girl named rachel- it makes me think of her :(

I love my name Rachelle....pronounced ruh-shell....
Hi, my name is Rachelle and I love my name. I am now 22 years old, and people usually think my name is " Rachel" which drives me nuts. I have a twin sister named Robin, so most of my life people are either calling me "Rachel" or Robin,so when people say it correctly I am very thankful. My sister'started calling me "Shell" as a knickname when i was a toddler and many of my friends use it as well.Ha I noticed someone wrote that friends and family call her "Shelly smelly" lol well my sis likes to bother me by calling me "Smelly Shelly". My name is pronounced Ra-Shell and I have only met one other Rachelle. Rachelle is a beautiful, original name.
i love my name. not alot of people have it. popularity is good.
Hi, my name is Rashelle. It was always been pronounced as Rah-shel, I liked it most especially when'they call me nicknames like Rash and Shell, I find them beautiful, but nevertheless, I always wanted my name to be pronounced as Rey-shel, but reading all of thoughts about the'similar name makes my heart somersault with joy. Rah-shel or Rey-shel, It'still is lovely and cool. And I also love It's origin!" :)
My name is Rachelle. I think people are starting to pronounce it correctly. It'seems to be more popular too. i've met a few people who spell it Rachelle but their name is Rachel. It makes me want to beat them up because of all the work I have had to do my whole life teaching people how to say my name.
My name is also Rachelle, pronounced "Ray-Shell" I too got called Rachel, Rochelle, Raquel, and Michelle. It wasn't until I was an adult that I started to hear people say my name correctly. My name is Raychel, pronounced Ray-Shel. My friends call me Chely(Shelly). Once when I was a cashier a man asked me how to pronounce my name, after I told him, he made an assumption that my fathe's' name was Ray and mothe's' name was Michelle. He was rather embarassed when I replied, "No, my fathe's' name is David and my mothe's' is Edna". I then'told him I was named after my grandmother, Helen Rachel(the family bible states it as Helen Raychel). One of the nurses had misspelled her name after'she born, so when I was born my mother made sure it was spelled correctly.
hI'my name is Rachelle and im 16 years of age.but people call me rachel and i do not mind but sometimes i get anry sometimes because once people call rachel everyone thinks my name is rachel and then everyone calls me rachel and all my friends call me shelly/smelly as a joke but i dont care lol.......
my name is actually pronounced ray-shell and people ALWAYS get it wrong. i always pronounce my name'slowly and phonetically to them when'they ask me but people always say rachel, rochelle, even michelle. it gets annoying at times but i love my name.
I too love my name. Rachelle. Pronounced Rah-shell. Not Ro shell, Ri shell, Mi shell or not Rachel. As nice as these names are I still have a hard time being called the alten'te names as It'seems to me an easy name to spell and say. I always make a point of getting peoples names right seeing as we have so many cultures. It's important. Not offending to me just irritating. Inter'sting that I also got the nick name "roach" as the above entry.
My name is Rachelle. I love my name but like everyone else no one knows how to pronounce it...Rachel, Raquel, Rochelle, Michelle, etc. Other than that i love it. My siblings call me shelly, my friends call me Roach or Roachy Roach. The name'sounds pretty and i love it!
My name is Rachelle too i have never meet enyone with my name that is way i like it also it is unique and different. Also i have teacher how calls me Rachelle Rachelle I'm not sure way but i don't mind it makes my name more unique.
Yes, people almost always spell & pronounce my name incorrectly. What's most annoying is that 5 minutes after I have introduced myself and have given'the correct pronunciation of my name (Kasandra (as in "sand"), the person calls me (Kasandra (as in "sun").
My name is spelt Rachelle but It's pronounced Rachel, just to confuse people! :p
My name is also Rachelle and it gets incredibly annoying when people call me Rachel or Rochelle!!! At the Day Care I work at the kids call me Michelle and It's soo annoying. Sometimes people call me Michelle purposely because they say i look like Michelle Obama and I'm just like omg! But I absolutely adore my name :)
My name is Rachelle, but my parents and family grew up raising me with it being pronounce "rachel" kinda annoying. I don't mind so much though. It's different. :D
My middle name is Rachelle (rah-shell). I think It's a very pretty name that's elegantly feminine without being "girly".
My name is also Rachelle pronounced like Ra shell but most people don't call me by my name they might call me Racheche, cheche, Rochelle, and Rachel. My whole volleyball and softball team can't say my name right so that's where I got the racheche and cheche from
he's all the Rachelles' out there! I am too a Rachelle pronouced Ra-Shell. A bit annoying coz I got tons of nicknames. Seashell, Ferrero Rocher, Ferrero Rachelle... But It's fun and I SO TOTALLY LURVE my name Rachelle Rules!!! =)
hi, my name is rachelle and like the name and people get it wrong but I'm ok with it I'm only 15 and i kinda laid back on how people say my name i always get called "rachel" but its just that the name rachel is most common.
My mom named me Rachelle after a girl she worked with that name and she loved it. I was born in 83. I too get people who read my name that think It's Rachel. i've gotten Rochelle & Michelle, too. Even some members of my family still can't spell it right. It's either Racheal, Rachell or Rachele...LOL i've gotten all the cutsie nicknames but the one I hated was Roach. i've only known 1 other woman with my name and she had Roach as a nickname, too. Never figured out how anyone got that out of Rachelle. All in all, I love my name and love that it Isn't very common. =)
my name is Rachelle i am 14 i use to get really mad when people say my name wrong but then i got use to it i even startes wrighting my name as Ray-shell so people could pronounce it right. i love my name. I am the only one in my little school with my name'so when someone says something about Rachelle i know their talking about me. i just love my name because every one knows me by my name and they love it.They/Me think i have a unque and cool name.
Rachelle is my niece's name and I love it. She gets called Rachel a lot, and she hates it but has given up on trying to convince people to call her by her proper name. Personally, I hate that'she gets Rachel instead of her real name. It's Rah-shell or Rah-Chell (in Spanish). Our family calls her Rachi.
My name is Rachelle. I pronounce it like Rachel though. I like it because It's different, not a very common way of pronouncing it. But I hate when people call me Rochelle or "Rash elle". It drives me insane!
My name is Rachelle and I have people pronoucing it every type of way such as Rachel, Rochelle or even Racquel. I love my name, It's so different and not a lot of people with it.
My name is Rachelle and I am 11 yrs old. My name is pronounced ra shell. I feel left out that there r basically no nicknames and alot of people call me Rachel. I LUV this name anyways :-)
My name is Rachelle too - I'm from England and I choose to pronounce my name as 'Rachel', but I'm fluent in French and when I'm in a French-speaking country people pronounce the'same correctly. It'should be pronounced like "Ra'shelle", due to french pronounciation the 'ch' is pronounced softly and the 'elle' is drawn out slightly longer than in English. i've had Americans call me something which sounds like Rae-cell in the past though... don't know if that's common in the USA but in Europe It's not how we pronounce it.
I love the name - It's so cool, and I only have met one person with that name. Rachelle is a name that I would put down as an excellent name for a girl.
hi im Rachelle mostof my teache's call me Rochelle or rachel... and even'they spell my name as Rechelle even'though most people get confused of my name i still like it because i think my name Rachelle is still the best!!!
Wow, I guess I'm not the only Rachel where there are more than one of us at work. Where I work at there are three of us named Rachel and another girl named Rachelle.
My daughtere is Rachelle. She loves her name and always goes mental at people for calling her Rachel or Rochelle. She has on occasion been called Michelle too but mostly she get's called Shelly-bean.
My name is Rachelle. I love it! My mom said she always wanted to name her first daughter Rachelle and well she did, me! I hate when people pronounce it incorrect! i've heard people call me Rachel, Michelle, Rochelle, Raquel, Ray-shel, Rach(ch as in chimp)-el, and lots more! I always correct them. The correct way I pronounce my name is Ruh-shel. So yeah Rachelle is like the best name, cus its not popular and i hate popular and steriotypes but thats beside the point. Popular is bad! x)
Hi, my name is Rachelle. I'm still a student in school, but about to finish High School. All the'substitute teache's call me Rachel when'they first see the name. My name is pronounced Ra Shell. Some people at my school think It's funny to call me Rachel, and a girl named Rachel, Rachelle. It's annoying, but at least they know my name. I love my weird name, and It's nice not having such a common name. I also love the nicknames I got, Shelly, Rochelly, and Rachelly. I defiantly love my name.
My name is Rachelle, very love it my mom told me a story i was suppose to be name after an actress Rachael Welch but hospital mispell my name and they put Rachelle instead,Love it when people call me Rachael
I love my name, but am really sensitive when someone calls me "Rachel" - I can'take "Rochelle" or even "Racquel" but "Rachel" just makes me see red for some reason.
HEY yea my name is rachelle as well. With my name i get rachael, rochelle alot or michelle even'though my name clearly begins with an R, i have even been called Ray-CH-elle, but most of my friends tend to call me Shelley. I have found Rachelle is a fairly uncommon name, because of this i find it extremly hard to locate it on such things as keyrings, notepads, mugs & pens just to name'some. Due to this I'must make special orders to purchase then. But i love my name and my nickname, i wouldn't change it.
This has probably been'the most informative page about the name Ean i've run across. I go by Ean, because E.A.N. are my in'tials. I like it because It's more gender neutral than my birth name.
HiiI'my names Rachelle and i am 13 i pronouce my name as Ra-shelle like the french as that where my mumj found my name and i completely love it ther's another rachelle in my school but she'spells her like Rashelle which make me feel better and more of an individual. i live that my name is quite unique and often has the'sam eproblem bein called rachel but i get over it as my cousin is called rachel i hate bein called rochelle though its just not my name'so i tell them its prounouced Ra-shelle and its okay i was called shell-bell as a nick name by my mum and shelly and shell and my likkle brogther calls me raquel which is really cute but im tryin to ge people to call my rae as i live it :)
Rachelle is my name and every one calls me racheal! I absolutly hate it! Its so annoying.. Its Ra-shelle!! :) but I hate that their are no nicknames except for chelle!
my name is rachelle and people always prounouce it rachel. like come on do you not see the extra el at the end.
My name is Rachelle && I love it. My moms name is Michelle & my dads name is Randy..so she always told me they just put the first part of my dads name (Ra) and the last part of my moms name (chelle) and put em together and created mine. I had never met another Rachelle until my friends sister was a Rachelle although she'spelled it Rachele. Ive always loved it & most people like it too. Although being called Rachel, Rochelle, or Michelle(when'they cant really understand what you said) does get really annoying but I wouldnt want to have any other name.
Sounds like a lot of other Rachelles have the'same problem I do. The first day of school, the teache's used to always pronounce my name as Rachel. After telling people It's pronounced ra shell, they usually tell me, "oh what a pretty name" though. I like it though. It's not too common and not too weird to where I'm the only Rachelle around.
My mother chose the name Rachelle for me in the early 1940's! She didn't want me to be a Rochelle, as it is pronounced in the'south, with the long o sound, so she made up the'spelling so it would be pronounced "Rushell". I received multiple compliments but never knew another person with that name until the 80's. It is often pronounced and spelled wrong but it has always been a special gift from my mother, whom I lost at the age of 8.
This is my sister's name, she's pretty happy with it. People always pronounce it correctly butthey will often spell it with a "K" at the'start.
I always hear how "pretty" it is, unless It's a guy saying it, and then It's "sexy." I'll take either one.
My name is Rashelle, and I really do like it. My mom wanted to name me something unique, and she hadn't heard the name Rashelle very much if at all before I was born. After I acquired my name, though, she heard it everywhere. =D I have been called Rachel, Rochelle, Michelle, Ray-shell, and even Ray-shool sounding like the word Racial. Even'though people misspell my name'sometimes, and mispronounce it, I still think it is very beautiful, and I love It's meaning!
Hey I'm 18 now and all through school people have always messed up my name. Yes, It's Rachelle' (notice the accent mark), but people pronounce it "Row-shell", "Rach-a-lee", and yea the list goes on...but does anyone pronounce their name "Rah-sha-laay"❤️❤️ I heard it is french, but I'm not at all french, so it would be cool to know.
heyy...my middle name is also rachelle i love it its pretty and unique im the only rachelle in my high school thats really cool!
I agreed with with everyone Rachelle is such a pretty name and the'spelling is much better than Rachel. I usually have a problem in school everyone has a diffrent way of saying my name. My family say my name like people in France: ra-shell because their haitian but with my friends and classmates I'make them prounouce it ruh-shell but other than that i love my name!
my name is Rachelle my dad and uncle named me it ok but i hate 2 be called rachel amd rochelle so i put a y s in so pepole can see RAY SHELLE
My name is Richelle. I WAS BORN IN 1983. i have grown to really like my name, now that I am older and can appreciate an unusual name. I have been called Rochelle, Michelle, rachael, and even Raquel !
I used to adore my name (Rachelle). My mother loves my name and raised me to feel proud to have it. It wasn't until I was 28 and naming my own baby daughter that I fell in love with classic names, and came to dislike my '70s/'80s one-hit-wonder (if you could even call it a hit) name. People, especially English speakers, often pronounce it wrong: like Raquel, Rachel, Ray-chelle, Rochelle. The "pure" meaning is nice enough, but I really wish I had a more timeless name.
My twin sister's name is Rachelle so not only do I get called by my name (Robin) but I also get called Rachel and Rachelle. Even when people call me by my sister's name accidentally I correct them and say "the extra "L" and "E" at the end of her name aren't there for show...
My name is also Rachelle, and i have had the'same experiences with the Rachel and the Michelle and all that'stuff. I'm 14 and i love my name. its unique and there is no one in my town with the name'so i never have to worry in school that there is someone else with my name
I love my name! My parents did a great job naming my sister and I <3
more often'than not my name is pronounced/spelled incorrectly, it was funny at my last job there was me "rachelle" a rachel, a rochelle, a richelle, a nichelle, a michelle, more often'than not some unknowing soul would call for a chelle and five of us would be extremely annoyed, but yes i've come to adore the look and sound of my name
I'm rachelle minsan napaka moody ko hindi ko alam kung bakit ganito ako once na may makita akong mali felling ko napaka sama ng taong yun grabe.. pero one time nagtanong ako sa classmate ko kung ano ba ang tingin nya sa ugali ko kung ano ang empression nya sakin sagot nila mabait loyal sa friend... maboka, makulit, nagulo mundo ko...hehehe...
My name is Rachelle. I have the'same problem. My friends have thought of inter'sting names to call me such as cheller or reseller. There is a Rochelle and Richelle in my school.
My name is Rachelle, I was named after my father's childhood friend. All my life people have said my name incorrectly. The correct way to pronounce it, Ruh shell.
My name is Rachelle (pronounced Ruh-shell) Evelyn and I have had so many people compliment me on how pretty it is. I, like so many othe's, have struggled with people calling me Rachel and Rochelle over the years, but I wouldn't trade my unique name for anything else. My father named it and when we lived in Lousiana it wasn't hard for people to get it right because so many people there have French names or speak some French. My family calls me "Chelle" which I love because no one else does, but as someone else pointed out, it doesn't lend itself to nicknames.
my name is rachelle and people ALWAYS say rachel, occasionally they'll say it right!! my name is pronounced ruh-shell and some people say rachel or ray-shell, or ro-chell, its annoying but i like my name!!
well there are alot of Odessa's arnt there! lol I'm Odessa to. I'm from New Zealand and alot of people compliment my name and think It'sounds very exotic, i love my name because no one ever gets me mixed up with anyone else because it is so distinctive and I'm very rearly forgotten because of it.
So many people are Rachelle! I hate the name Rachel and many people love my name and few dont, but It's an elegant name and im proud of having it, just dont call me Rachel because I will always correct you, have since I was 5. My nicknames are Rach, Raquel and Racheaaal its fun to mix my name! By the way it means a female lamb thats innocent :)
My name is spelled 'Rachelle' but pronounced 'Rachel' and I have had the reverse of almost everyone on here, in that most people pronounce it 'Ra shell', which I really don't like. My mum thought she was being original with the'spelling and, indeed, I am one of only three I have met in my life. It's nice to see there are a few more out there, but I have only ever met people who pronounce it "Ra shell' and would love to hear about othe's who pronounce it 'Rachel'. As for nicknames, I get Rach or Rachie.
My name is Rachelle and my name came from my dads name, "Randy" and my moms name "Michelle" I always thought I was the only one with the name'since they had created it..but I was wrong. I too have been called Rachel my entire life..so now I basically have two identities..Rachel and Rachelle lol.
hI'my name is Rachelle and im 16 years of age.but people call me rachel and i do not mind but sometimes i get anry sometimes because once people call me rachel everyone thinks my name is rachel and then everyone calls me rachel and all my friends call me shelly/smelly as a joke but i dont care lol.......
not many people call my friend ray-chel, but some call he ro-chel.
people always spell my name wrong!! they usually spell it rochelle and I'm like no! its rachelle! very frustrating!!
recently people are pronouncing it properly. but usually they say rachael but it is pronounced ra-shell not ray-shell or ro-shell. ra-shell as in the ra in the name rabecca.
I am a Rachelle too! A 1981 one i am . Same name'same problems with its pronunciation as many othe's by the looks of it! I did think we were pretty obsolete us rachelles (rus shell) s now i know there are many of us (thanks to the internet) gives me a warm feeling like i belong :)I love my name wouldnt change it for the world and lets face those who know and love us always say it the right way xx rachelle
my name is Rachel but is't pronounced Ra-Shell. I let people call me whatever is easier for them. Both Rachel as Ra-shell are beautiful names, so It doesn't botter me that much......
My name is also Rachelle, pronounced Ruh-Shell. My grandmother chose my name and my mother fell in love with it. I used to hate being called Rachelle because everyone would mispronounce my name and I just got very sick of it, so I went by Shelly. Later on, in 2016, my grandmother (who named me) died of cancer... this is when I decided that I loved my name, Rachelle, and I would use this (rather than Shelly) from here on out. Rachelle is not a very common name, and even'though some people can't pronouce it, thats alright! :)
My mother chose the name "Rachelle" for me. We moved so much when I was in school, that I knew everytime I started a new school I would have to start all over on how my name is pronounced. I pronounce my name "Ruh-Shell". When I'met my husband he made the'same mistake, I told him I didn't like the name Rachel because I spent alot of time telling people that is not my name. So now when he thinks he's being funny he'll call me Rachel. Now it doesn't even faze me.
People are constantly calling me Rachael, and sometimes I even get it pronounced Ray-shell or rah-chell-e (with the ch as in church and the last e as in see). One person, a complete stranger, even'told me my name was Racquel and I was just saying it wrong!! Still, It's a beautiful name, especially when It's said by someone french!
My name is Rachelle and it takes people a while to get it, but the people who mean alot to me and who I love know how to say it and thats the main thing! I have had a lot of different pronunciations, some funny, like Ra-tschell and rashe-ell (like Ray-shhhl) I love my name and whoever else who has it in this world, you all rock!!
