I too have been asked how to pronounce my name "Angelia" for years, including today. I have always said it is "Angela" , hating the i . Actually , hating my name entirely. If it wouldn't be such a hassle to change it, I would gladly spend the money. But, my degrees have the horrible name, so it will stay "Angelia".
I love my name! There❤️s also a song by Richard Marx called ❤️Angelia❤️ and I used to sing it when I was younger. Nobody ever pronounces my name right, It's frustrating because It's really not much different from Angelina. I get so many compliments on how pretty it is so I love the uniqueness. I know a few girls with the'same name either'spelled the'same as me or spelled like Angelya or Anjeliah.
My name is Angelia and I hate it. I have been asked my entire life , well since I entered school at age 4 " How do you pronounce your name❤️ ". I have always been called Angela , always wondering about the "I" I have even'thought about legally changing my name.
When my parents named me they saw the verse in the bible that'said "Rachel was very beautiful and greatly loved"and named me Rachel with hopes that i wold be too. That's such a sweet story on how to name your baby. I really love my name and couldn't imagine being called anything else.
