people named Jamie are the most awesome people in the country. and make life worth living sometime.
Jamie is a great boy's name. Our new baby will be named James but we will usually call him Jamie. Don't like this name used for girls - anyway it is fast going out of fashion as a girl's name.
Jamie is a fantastic name but on a girl. I am slightly biased as I'm a female Jamie but I love my name. It's unusual for a girl in UK to be called Jamie however I think It'suits a girl better.
Jamie is a great name which works best for boys. Name your son "James" but call him "Jamie" - It's warm, friendly, glamorous and incredibly sexy. Please, no more girls called Jamie!
I love this name to bits. All the Jamie's (all male) i've known have brought nothing but good into my life. I'm naming my son Jamie Robert.
I hear from mothe's how "cute" Jamie sounds for a boy's name. Let me ask you, what if your boy Isn't going for cute? What if your boy gets tired of having mail addressed to him as "Ms Jamie?" Consider also how often he'll hear, "But that's a girl's name!" from both kids AND adults. From an adult Jamie who has experienced all this: give your boy a solid masculine name. Or name them James, Jacob, or Jay and consider Jamie as a nickname.
I love the name jamie its very sexy. I'm female i dated a guy named jamie and he was sexy.
Jamie is a variant (English and Scottish) of the name Jacob (Dutch, English, German, and Scandinavian). Jamie is also a diminutive form (English) of the name James (English and Hebrew).
Hi ... we named our Baby, which was born January 28th 2018 Jamie as well. We life in Vienna/Autria (Europe) and Jamie is quite unusual name here. But as we love England and the US, we decided to give our baby an "english/american" Name. Our daughter, which will be born in April2019 will be called "MACY" ... kind regards and the best wishes for you guys!!!
I am Jamie Patrick my family is of Irish background, i am called James alot ever'since i was in the Marines, all my family and close friends call me Jamie, it will always be my name
Aw thats lovely about your son called Jamie! Makes it even more special
It can be either...when you are naming your child after the father (james)I love it because it is a distinct difference and you don't have to call the child jim, jI'my or little jI'my to make a distinction...we are using it for a girl ...love it
I'm James, but often called Jamie by my friends. I prefer Jamie - It's a great name for a boy, not so good for a girl.
I think Jamie is better for a boy than a girl. It's old news for girls, but cool for guys. There are enough male Jamies that they shouldn't take too much guff for it. It's cute!
I personally hate the name Jamie...of whic I have had the displeasure of having for 48 years...it is bland and boring and derives from the name James...my father's name and by the way I am female...
my mates called jamie, i call him logan, he is the'supplater of the household
My name is Jermaisseon. Within its letters, "Jamison" and "Jamie" can be found. I feel like a "hidden Jamie". I'm a guy BTW (in case you were wondering). I feel like people who are known as Jamie (whether legally named James or not) are good people who are capable of doing great things in life. Definitely recommend for a boy (let's stop using Jamie on girls, It's flat out WRONG!).
This name was my grandmothe's and I always loved it. It's an older name now, but I think it just flows very beautifully. It reminds me of strong women and I love that.
I live in England and my son born in 2003 was named Jamie. It is most definitely a boy's name here. Short for James, but a name on its own.
We are thrilled that Hannah is the name of our first grandchild! She is blessed by God and so is her family.
this is my boyfriends name and I really do love it :) he is a very sweet man I love his name!
i love the name jamie my husbands name is james and mine is Alexandra and my son will be born in a couple of weeks and his name will be Jamie Alexander
My name is Jamie and I am a girl. I have met ten other Jamies in my life and all of them were boys. I think it is a very good name for a boy, but I am not a boy. I do not like my name very much mostly because me older brother named me Jamie because he wanted me to be a boy.
its okay, just It'sounds more of a girls name, not a guys name, and so it would be embrassing to be a guy name Jamie(no offense). But it is a very cool name dont get me wrong =)
Jamie is definitely a fantastic boy's name and always will be. It is fading for girls. In the UK Jamie is 98% male. For a boy, go for Jamie, but maybe as nickname for James (also fantastic).
This is a cool name. It reminds me of poor Anne Frank.
