My brother taught me to spell my name Leta...instead of Lita as noted on my birth certificate. Once I graduated I started spelling it the way it was officially registered. My old friends however refuse to change the'spelling, so whenever I get something with the incorrect spelling, I know it is from an old, old friend. Carmelita
My grandmother's name is Leta, and I think It's a beautiful name!
I'm a Leta. i've only met two other Letas in my lifetime. No, people never pronounce my name right...Rita❤️ Lydia❤️ Let-a❤️ i've gotten over that over the years. When I was little I used to hate my name...I was a red-head with a crazy name I definitely always got picked last in gym class to say the least :) Now I'd take being Leta any day over a jessica or Jennifer.
