Lilian meaning

I am naming my daughter Lilian, so I obviously like it. I have a spanish last name which is why my husband and I chose the'spelling with one L in the middle.

I agree. Everyone assumes my name is spelled with two "L"s but I say no It's only 1 "L"

I am considering this name for my 3rd. I am 43 and have an 11 yr old girl and 10 year old boy. This little "surprise" was the result of a little trip to Bermuds. One of the highlights was a tour of the perfumery there, where we both purchased a new fragrance. The perfumery is called Lili Bermuda - so I thought that might be neat...or it could be a boy and then I'm back to square one!

I love this name, My great grandmother's name was Lillian and we named our daughter Lillian. We also call her Lilly for short.

I love this name, I named my second daughter Lilyen. I spelled it diffrent so her nic name would come out of her full name which would be Lily, Just like the flower. Beautiful!
