My name is Whitley, and my parents got it from the TV show, A Different World. A lot of people I'meet pronounce it WhitNey, which is incorrect.
Most people often mistaken my name pronounced like white lee and is often mistakenly spelled whiley, whitely, whitey, or even whitly. I barely even meet people with the'same name mostly 1 out of 10 people have the'same name.
