My name is Whitley, and my parents got it from the TV show, A Different World. A lot of people I'meet pronounce it WhitNey, which is incorrect.

My name is Whitley. It was my grandmother's maiden name. I live in Kannapolis and i only know one other person with my name. 9 out of 10 times i am called WhitNey. since when does an N look like an L. I have hated my name and it makes me mad when people i've know for years pronounce my name wrong.
