IT IS THE BEST NAME EVER BUT, EVERYONE OTHER THAN GOD'S SON THAT IS NAMED JESUS SHOULD NOT THINK THAT THEY CAN STEAL JESUS'S INCREDIBLE POPULARITY!!! I know It's pronounced differently as a Spanish name.
My Fiance's Name is Jesus Its Spanish people prnounced HEY ZUES Most people of hispanic disent that are name jesus are not named because of the'son of god but because its a passed down name from another family member.
I think you should increase your records. I know of at least 1 Jesus born before that date, so ther's 1 for your records!
This is the name that aroses emotion just by being mentioned. It is the name that is higher than any other name in Heaven and on earth and under the earth..
Jeezus, its a great thing to be named after our lord, but some ding bats spell it wrong, talk about annoying
There used to be a blonde BrIt'sh starlet called just Sabrina - a Jayne Mansfield type. i've never met a real life Sabrina, but it means a nymph from the famous English River'severn and is very pretty.
I agree with Monica Estrada nobody should say anything about anyone's name. I think that if the name Jesus was not meant to be used by anyone, it should say so in the bible. Everyone should just get over this period.
I agree with Judy Jenninngs Amen! God Bless you finally someone says something sooo true! Lauren if people make fun of that name they don't know how Jesus in the Cross gave his LIFE for us other wise we would be in hell. So I wouldn't be talking!!!
I guess its fine...I'mean a lot of people are saying you shouldnt name your child jesus because of the "real one" but, before jesus from the bible was born, there were probably other jesus's, so who's to say you can't name your child jesus❤️
I would never name my son Jesus; it would put a lot of pressure on the kid - extremely high expectations...
So what if someone is called Jesus, why do you care❤️ It's just a name so get over it. What's the whole thing about Jesus being disrespectful name to have❤️ There is no honor question here anyway.
In New Zealand you're not allowed to name you child Jesus.
I love this name but I would never dream of giving my baby this name. It is too high above anything on earth and too sacred.
Jesus was a very popular name in that time. I know that is what The Father told them to call him, but maybe He wanted that name to show the people that He was both human and Savior. I think God loves everyone regardless of name.
this page is so off the chain!!!!!!!!!!!!!you guys rock.
i agree with some people this is a holy name it means 'I'manuel' which that means god with us. It'says in the bible its a holy name any way please don't name your kid that name i think almost everyone does religion
I'mean cmon, jesus as a name❤️ no. there is only ONE Jesus, pick annuva name! the kid wud b bullied anyway
This is the massive name in this universe and it is a very peaceful name. The name Jesus is the lord who came from the heaven to the earth, to show the way; and from earth to the cross, my debts to pay; and from the cross to the grave and from the grave to the sky..... and the Lord Jesus name we pray........
its disrespectful to have that name imagine how much someone would be made fun of for it!
The name Jesus is quite popular among the spanish culture. And there is nothing wrong with that. As you can see the meaning of the name is "Named for Jesus". Which if anything, is an act of love for the lord. Not trying in any way to make the name any less significant. My name means the birth of Christ and couldn't be more proud to carry such an important name. ( one that was later in time shortened to noel) If anything I see it being a compliment to Christ. I doubt he disagrees.
There is no letter J in the hebrew vocabulary and Jesus is latin in origin. Yeshua is his true hebrew name
I would like to start by saying that my husband's name is Jesus (pronounced haysoos not geezus). Second of all, our first sone will be named after him. I don't think that I should deprive my husband of that right simply because his name is the same as God's son. Furthermore, God's son's name was ACTUALLY Yeshua. God knows what everyone's name will be before they are born. He makes us and HE knows our name. No one has any right to judge. That is GOD'S job. If it is illegal to name a child Jesus then so be it (the bible says to follow the laws of the land), but where I live it isn't. My husband is Mexican and in their family they name their first son after the father. I will not argue with my husband about it, I will do it because I want to honor him. Lastly, Jesus died for our sins. So even if I'm NOT supposed to name my kid Jesus, I'm forgiven. god is my judge and NONE of you should be saying ANYTHINg about ANYONE'S name.
I love Jesus (not the name, the real guy), but how could you name your kid this, and when you get mad shout at him... "Jesus...". It is too common for such a horible name for a child
i think its the best name wen It's jesus and not said hey-zues okay also i bully people they don't bully me 8==========================D ------
To me We all have the right to have any name our children what ever we want i know if i was a boy i would be honored to have that name. But on the other side No one is going to be perfict like our Lord god and no one is going to respect the name like it should be. and thats all there is to it and i don't care what any one thinks
My man and me had a friend named Jesus And before he died he told us that if we had a boy to name him jesus so that we knowed that are boy was caring out a honorable name from him and the good man above and i dont care what anybody think's about that.
according to Dr. Price, Yehoshua is more likeley the orininal hebrew name of Jesus - Yeshua the derogatory name given to Jesus as it is suggested strongly by his research that, back then, to change a name was a sign of disrespect and disregard. His papers are facinating- perhaps you should consider reading some of it.
You shouldn't name your daughter this unless the Lexus car company pays you for the advertising.
I believe that no one else on earth should have the name Jesus because our glorious Lord and savior is the only one deserving of such praise and honor to have this precious holy name.
No one should EVER Ever be name after the LORDS son because we are sinners and not perfect. The name Jesus is a highly name and he is king so there should be no one above him. "Act 4-12 Salvation sf found
Of course I love the name of our Lord, but why name anyone that. He was perfect and died for us. We could never do that, so I say we leave His name alone out of respect for Him.
praise the lord but don't give your kid this name. he'll be made fun of for the rest of his life.
I think someone should not be named after the Lord because no one can match to his standard.
Freaaakky name. I am NOT a christian either and its just a weird name. No offence. Oh god, i feel sorry for the kids that are called this!
I think the name cinnamin applesauce is the best ever and I really want to name my daughter that when i have one
Jesus is my husband and sons name and yes it is our lords name and if its the same glorious lord im talkind about then he would love to share his name just like he shares his love with us, nobody can judge but him.
I would never name my son Jesus out of respect for the real one.
Philipians 2:9-11 Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name that is above every name. That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth. And every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Jesus is a powerful name, I would NEVER name a child after him.
Well basically, being called "Keeley" is very fufilling because it is a very unique and sophisticated name. Very frequently, people misread my name and refer to me as being called Kelly, which really annoys me, because it makes me feel like a chav. Additionally, my form tutor of 3years still refers to me as Kelly, which really does push my buttons! So, i would recommend all you Mums-to-be to name your child Keeley as it would make your child as special as me.
You 'Hannahs' might be pleased to hear that 'Hana' in Japanese means flower or blossom, which is very symbolic in Japan. So congratulations
I love the'sound of this name (apparently it is a common name in Spanish countries) but I wouldn't chose it for my own child - It's just too much somehow. My child shall be a normal child, not a saint or god-like person.
I know that this is a spanish name and all and it is'nt said the way it is spelt...But i wouldnt name my kid Jesus cause i have see alot of people get made fun of with this name.
