I was born in 1972. i've know a number of other Kaylyn, KayeLynne, Kaylynn who are also born in the 50's and 60's. Most of our parents were combining Kay and Lyn to honor 2 people when we were named. They will have it mispronounced and misspelled for their whole lives, and if they're quite like me, they won't always correct people repeatedly. So, despite how beautiful I think Kaylyn is as a name, I would not recommend naming your child that.
